Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Dr. Amborski completed his bachelor’s degree in chemistry at the University of Toronto. He then pursued a PhD in chemistry at York University, where he published original research and served as a teaching assistant. Following this, Dr. Amborski earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of Detroit Mercy, where he also completed an elective program in implant dentistry.
Dr. Amborski is now in his tenth year of dental practice and remains passionate about learning and helping people achieve optimal oral health. In the ever-evolving field of dentistry, staying current is crucial; therefore, he attends over 70 hours of continuing education annually. He enjoys the unique blend of helping people, science, and art that dentistry offers.
He is currently a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), the Indiana Dental Association (IDA), the Indianapolis District Dental Society (IDDS), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). He has also been awarded Fellowship status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Outside of dentistry Dr. Amborski enjoys skiing, golf, reading, exercising and food.
